Sri Lakshmi Mart ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Sri Lakshmi Mart mobile application for customers and vendors, the Sri Lakshmi Mart Rider mobile application for delivery partners, and related online services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services. By creating an account or using our apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your full name, mobile number and/or email address, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form.

Delivery and order information: For customers, we collect delivery addresses (including street, city, postal code, and map coordinates when provided), order details, cart contents, and order history.

Rider information: For delivery partners, we collect vehicle type, vehicle registration number, driving license number, online/offline status, delivery history, earnings records, and—when you are online or completing a delivery—your real-time GPS location.

Vendor information: For store partners, we collect business details, product listings, order fulfilment data, and store performance metrics.

Communications: We may store in-app notifications and support messages related to your account or orders.

Device and usage data: We may collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app interaction logs needed to operate and secure the Services.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account
• Process and fulfil grocery orders and deliveries
• Match riders with nearby delivery requests and show delivery routes
• Enable vendors to manage inventory and incoming orders
• Send order updates, delivery status alerts, and account notifications
• Calculate rider earnings and vendor settlements
• Prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and maintain platform security
• Improve our apps, fix bugs, and provide customer support

4. Location Data

The Sri Lakshmi Mart Rider app requests location permission to navigate to pickup and delivery points and to share your live location with customers while a delivery is in progress. Location is collected only when you grant permission and, for riders, primarily while you are marked online or actively delivering.

The customer app may use map coordinates associated with saved delivery addresses to facilitate deliveries. You can manage location permissions in your device settings at any time.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed to operate the Services:

• Between platform users: Customers, riders, and vendors see only the information required to complete active orders.
• Service providers: We use trusted infrastructure and mapping providers (such as cloud hosting and Google Maps) that process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and secure password hashing.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
